Events that happen in life or even news that events may happen can change our lives immediately. Disease can deepen our compassion and death heightens our love and understanding. I believe in G-d. I believe G-d exists in the form of love and compassion.
Sometimes news is handed to us like a snowstorm. We shovel our way out just to slip and slide back into our homes. This is the sort of news that I have been handed. This news is changing the way I understand people and the way I understand G-d.
In this photograph, the cycles of rebirth are in limbo; resting on the tarp of fate and health, without knowing or understanding what lies underneath. Life hovers naked behind and above this small mass, while bits of life poke up from the surrounding surface.
