equal protection
Earlier this fall I was driving to work when I saw this man at an anti health care rally. How perfect that this man, who is against providing health care to the needy –is holding an umbrella (protection/power) and holding a sign that refers to his God? While this man stays under his umbrella others hold their breath.

man v woman
I was shooting a family portrait this summer and this scene kept catching my eye. The yellow boat sits slightly above the red in a masculine v. feminine aesthetic (red as traditional marker for man, yellow woman). There is certainly a lot more going on here, which is why I enjoy this shot. Interestingly, I found out later that the red boat belongs to the wife.
